Nissan 370Z Nismo
Why 7.1: DougScore 55, solidly mid-pack — about right for how unpretentious the ownership is. Cheap enough now that buying one specifically to track it stopped being a hard decision years ago.

Sound
The VQ37 is loud, revs to 7,500 and the Nismo exhaust lets the induction through without much filtering. But the VQ has always been coarse and boomy rather than tuneful, and it drones flat at motorway speed. Volume without a great deal of tone.
6-cylinder · naturally aspirated · 7,500 rpm redline · rated 6.2 / 10 for engine sound

Child seats · ISOFIX
There aren't any — strict two-seater.
No lower LATCH anchors anywhere in the car. The owner's manual permits a forward-facing restraint in the front passenger seat via the seatbelt only, with a top-tether anchor point on the cargo-area floor.
Applies to Coupe models (Nismo was coupe-only) — the manual is explicit that Roadster 370Zs get no tether anchor at all and warns against carrying any child who needs a restraint.

The long version
Nismo's changes were mostly about commitment rather than raw numbers — a retuned exhaust and ECU for 18 extra horsepower, stiffer springs and bushings, a wider staggered wheel-and-tire package — the kind of package that reads modest on a spec sheet but adds up to a genuinely different car at a track day. That's exactly where these end up: 370Z Nismos are a fixture of amateur time-attack and club-racing grids because used prices fell low enough that buying one specifically to abuse it stopped being a hard decision years ago. The GT-R Nismo gets the magazine covers and the six-figure price tag for the same badge; this is the version enthusiasts can actually afford to drive the way the badge promises. Values bottomed out recently and have started firming as the last naturally aspirated RWD Nissan sports coupe gets rediscovered by buyers who missed it the first time.
