BMW i5 M60
Why 7.8: The fastest thing BMW will sell you with a 5 Series badge and no engine: 593 hp, 820 Nm with M Launch Control armed, 3.8 seconds to 100 km/h, and a 230 km/h limiter that quietly tells you what it is not. An M Performance car, not an M car, and BMW has been careful never to say otherwise.

Sound
Hans Zimmer's IconicSounds Electric is a properly composed soundscape that swells with throttle rather than faking cylinders. But it is a score played over a silent motor, so it lands level with the Taycan at the bottom of the index.

Child seats · ISOFIX
Two ISOFIX positions on the outer rear seats, the outer pair being the ones the standard covers.
The rear anchors are the supported route — the manual points child seats there, and front-passenger ISOFIX is the exception rather than the rule. A belt-mounted seat up front needs the airbag off, and cars with a rear row don't always fit a deactivation switch, precisely because the rear seats exist.
Derived from production years and seating layout, not a per-car source. ISOFIX was standardised as ISO 13216 in 1997, required on new EU model types from 2011 and on all new EU cars from 2014.
The long version
The i5 M60 is the company-car answer to a question the M5 asks much more expensively. It uses BMW's fifth-generation drive units — electrically excited synchronous motors with no rare-earth magnets, one per axle, spinning to around 17,000 rpm — and pairs them with rear air springs, adaptive dampers and optional rear-wheel steering to hide 2,380 kg convincingly on any road that is not a mountain pass. Almost all of them are leased, which is the whole ownership story: high annual mileage, essentially zero flipping, and a residual curve that has been unkind enough to make three-year-old cars look startling against list. Nobody tracks one. The 230 km/h limiter and the way range collapses above 160 km/h make the case for what it actually is, which is an extremely fast, extremely quiet way to cover a lot of motorway. That the badge on the grille says M is a marketing decision the driving experience never tries to justify.
