This is the 570S GT4 race car with plates and a passenger seat, built in numbers small enough (around 350) that McLaren could offer it directly to existing owners rather than advertise it. That distribution model self-selected for buyers adding to a collection rather than replacing a daily car, and the fixed, non-adjustable racing suspension does the rest of the filtering — it is genuinely unpleasant on anything but smooth pavement or a track. The result is a car with real motorsport pedigree that spends most of its life not being driven, exactly the outcome you'd predict from selling a stripped-out track special to people who already have somewhere else to put their daily miles.
