Why 4.3: Ferrari's sharpest turbo V8 yet, retired the moment the 296 went hybrid — an accidental last-of-its-kind that nobody put on the window sticker. Early resale is still finding its footing while the badge waits to see if that status turns into real money.

Sound

The F154 revs to 8,000 and Ferrari worked the Inconel exhaust hard to claw back what the turbochargers took, so it is genuinely sharp near the limiter. But boost still flattens the mid-range, which is why the last unblown V8 Ferrari sits well above it.

The long version

Production ended in 2023 without Ferrari making a fuss about it, but the F8 quietly became the last Ferrari V8 sold without an electric motor riding along, a status the 458 crowd already lived through once when turbos first arrived. Early used-market behavior looks like every recent turbo Ferrari before it: some cars flip within a year chasing the next allocation letter, others settle into genuine ownership once the launch premium wears off. Whether last non-hybrid V8 becomes a real value story or just a footnote depends on whether buyers start treating it the way they eventually treated the 458.
