Mercedes-AMG GT
Why 5.7: The base GT is the honest entry point: dry-sump V8, rear transaxle, long hood, no Black Series theatre. It depreciated into driver money, but the AMG GT shape still attracts spec buyers as much as road users.

The long version
AMG built the GT to be more usable than the SLS without surrendering the front-mid-engine theatre, and the base car is where that compromise lands cleanest. It has the transaxle layout, the hand-built V8 and the seating position without the GT R's track-car price story. Values softened enough that second owners can drive them, yet low-mile garage examples still appear because the shape has modern AMG halo-car gravity. No DougScore entry here, but the ownership pattern is visible enough: half back-road coupe, half badge-shaped weekend sculpture.
