Why 6.1: DougScore 65 and real Black Series provenance. It is more collectable than usable now, but the mechanical anger is central AMG canon.

The long version
The CLK 63 Black Series is the car that taught a generation what modern AMG menace looked like: widebody stance, fixed rear seats deleted, hydraulic steering and the full M156 bark. It was never delicate, and that was the point. The current market treats it as a serious AMG collectible, so the mileage story is cautious, but the car's reputation comes from actual violence rather than badge theatre. It is the missing middle between the live SLK Black Series and the later C63 Black Series.
